The Inn is located in the renowned artist community, Holualoa Village. Step to the end of the driveway and you will find hundreds of paintings, sculptures, and glass works waiting to be discovered in the various artist galleries and studios.
We proudly support the Donkey Mill Art Center, a local gathering of artisan workshops and events.

Bird Watching

Bird Watching - Hawaii Forest & Trail
A supreme study in contrast, the Rainforest and Dry Forest Adventure takes you to two very different environments. We head north along the coastline before starting the climb to the old Mamalahoa Highway, keeping an eye out for open-country birds. Great for beginners and experts.

Kailua Village Farmers Market open Thursday thru Sunday from 9-5; located at the intersection of Ali'i Drive and Hualalai Road, across from Hale Halawai. Meet the farmers and artists of Hawaii's diversified culture. Select from a wide variety of fruits, nuts, vegetables, flowers, freshly baked breads, tropical jams and jellies, wood carvings, hand-made jewelry, Hawaiian shirts, saris, and wraps. Continue along the main road where there are dozens of shops to tempt you. North of downtown is the International Market offering a wide selection of gift items. Take home a taste of the Big Island with our estate-grown Kona Coffee.
