The Summer Farmfest & Ukulele Jam is an Hawaii Island annual event, set for this Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Holualoa Village. With festivities literally just up Holualoa Inn’s entry drive, it’s and easy hop up the road to enjoy this colorful, delicious, musical event. It takes place village-wide with more than a dozen local farmers displaying their goods, offering samples and produce for sale while Ukulele is played on three stages stretched along “main street”. Featured musicians include Na Kupuna o Kona Ali’i, Mele Ohana and Bolomusic — bring your “uke” and join in! Beer drinkers rejoice — our very own Kona Brewing Company is introducing its hand-crated Oceanic Organic beer during the event with samples offered at Holuakoa Gardens & Cafe, a major sponsor of this year’s event. See you there!
